The City of Loveland is seeking a Director of Utilities for this vibrant community of 82,460 tucked against the foothills of the Rocky Mountains 45 minutes north of Denver. THE CITY OF LOVELAND

Incorporated in 1881, the City of Loveland is a full-service city that operates under a Council-Manager form of government with a 2024 budget of $555 million and a team of 904 FTEs. Loveland has a nine-member City Council led by the Mayor, who is elected for a two-year term by the community at large.  
 

LOVELAND WATER & POWER

Loveland Water and Power (LWP) is a municipally owned utility providing Loveland customers with power, water, wastewater, and broadband services. LWP is advised by the Loveland Utilities Commission (LUC), made up of nine community members and two non-voting members, in addition to two City Council liaisons. LWP operates with a 2025 total budget of $259 million (O&M $141.7M, Capital $117.3) and a team of 220 FTEs.
