Louisville Fire Protection District (LFPD) in seeking a Fire Chief for this vibrant and historic community of 20,390 located 25 minutes northwest of Denver and 15 minutes east of Boulder, Colorado. THE LOUISVILLE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
The Louisville Fire Protection District (LFPD) is a full-service department protecting the City of Louisville and a portion of unincorporated Boulder County, Colorado.The District delivers all-hazards public safety services and ambulance transport across 25 square miles with a budget of $12 million and 50 FTEs. The District responds to about 3,700 calls per year from three fully staffed stations and maintains specialized teams in Hazardous Materials (HazMat), Wildland Firefighting, and Technical Rescue. The District is guided by an elected board of directors consisting of five members, each serving a four-year term.
