Soos Creek Water & Sewer District (SCWSD) is seeking an Engineering Manager to join one of the largest special purpose districts in Washington State. Located 20 miles southeast of Seattle, the District serves more than 114,000 people within 35 square miles and provides services to unincorporated King County and the cities of Auburn, Black Diamond, Covington, Kent, Maple Valley, and Renton.
THE ENGINEERING MANAGER
The position of Engineering Manager (EM) is new to the District and will be a member of the management team. The EM directs and performs engineering and related functions in support of the District’s operational and capital improvement initiatives. They will directly oversee the Development Department and report to the General Manager while working closely with all other departments.
