The City of Pasco is seeking an experienced City Manager for this vibrant and diverse city along the Columbia River in southeastern Washington.  

Pasco is a fast-growing city. It’s estimated that the current population of 80,000 will grow to 125,000 by 2038. The city's quality of life has kept pace as Pasco is recognized in many of Washington’s "Best City" lists. The city is known for its affordability, great neighborhoods, lively local food scene, abundant access to outdoor recreation, and 300 days of sunshine each year.  Pasco is also part of Washington’s Tri-Cities region —the fourth largest metropolitan area in the state.  

Operating under a Council-Manager form of government, the City of Pasco is a full-service city with a budget of $184M and a team of 385 FTEs.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE 

The City of Pasco is seeking an experienced manager and leader who is passionate about local government, understands all aspects of a full-service city, and will excel in providing services to a diverse population in a rapidly growing community. 

Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field and 7 years of experience in municipal management, including 4 years of experience as city manager, assistant city manager, or director of a city department.
