Mt. Crested Butte Water & Sanitation District is seeking a District Manager for this Colorado Title 32 special district responsible for providing essential water and wastewater services to residents and businesses in the Town of Mt. Crested Butte and portions of rural Gunnison County. This high-alpine region is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, world-class outdoor recreation, and vibrant local culture.

Operating out of offices in Mt. Crested Butte, Mt. Crested Butte Water & Sewer District is governed by an elected five-member Board of Directors and serves 3,546 customers across a service area of 3.1 square miles with an annual revenue of $7 million and a team of 14 full-time employees. The District has made significant investments in infrastructure improvements, such as its recently completed $22 million water treatment plant, and capacity upgrades to meet the demands of a growing, tourism-driven community. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the District Manager serves as the chief executive of the District.
