Everett Housing Authority (EHA) is seeking a Finance Director for this mission-driven public agency that provides rental assistance, housing, and resident services to about 4,000 households in Everett and Snohomish County, WA. Located 28 miles north of Seattle, Everett is a vibrant waterfront city of 111,000—the largest city in Snohomish County and the county seat.

EHA's mission is to create affordable housing, foster healthy communities where households thrive, and replace systemic racism with equity for all. EHA owns and manages over 2,100 units of housing serving households across the income spectrum and administers over 3,700 Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers. EHA operates with a 2024 budget of $92 million and a team of 129 FTEs. EHA’s ambitious 10-Year Strategic Plan, adopted in 2020, aims to create and preserve at least 1,500 additional units; to transform neighborhoods into communities of opportunity where households can thrive; to foster EHA as a great place to work; and to create a workplace and housing programs where race and other immutable characteristics have no impact on outcomes and opportunities for staff or program participants.
THE FINANCE DIRECTOR
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Finance Director leads the Finance department and is responsible for developing and implementing sound financial strategies and initiatives that align with the overall goals of Everett Housing Authority. The Finance Director oversees the Finance and Procurement departments with a total staffing of 15 FTEs. Direct reports include the Deputy Director of Finance, Accounting Manager, Controller, and Senior Manager of Procurement, Contracts, and Risk Management.
